Longtime Sasquatch Experiencer & Researcher
Barb Shupe is recognized as a seasoned Sasquatch experiencer based in the Cascade Mountains near Mount Rainier, Washington State. She has spent decades in the region and developed an intuitive understanding and connection with the beings often called the "Forest Folk" or Bigfoot.

Cofounder of the "Barb & Goldie Group" (B&G Group)
She co-founded the B&G Group—a circle of Sasquatch experiencers who organize camping gatherings multiple times a year. Their goal: to respectfully observe and, in a sense, learn from Sasquatch through immersive, field-based encounters.

Documented Encounters & Multimedia Presence
Barb has recounted numerous experiences—ranging from vocalizations and footprints to giant fingerprints found at campsites during B&G outings.
She also co-hosts a YouTube channel called "Squatchin’ with Barb and Gabby," where she shares videos of her experiences and Sasquatch-related phenomena—EVPs, orbs, unusual knocks, and more.

"Co‑Existing in Nature with Bigfoot"
In a podcast episode on California Haunts Radio, Shupe described one of her earliest encounters in November 2012: while hiking near Mount Rainier, she heard strange vocalizations—talking, whistles, and a grunt—and spotted what she believed might be a Bigfoot. Over time, she says she's learned to respect and live alongside these creatures.
