Travel Tips & FAQs

Essential information for your journey into the wild.

What should I pack for a multi-day stay?

Pack in layers: the Pacific Northwest weather can shift rapidly. Bring sturdy hiking boots, rain gear, and a warm jacket for cooler forest nights. Don't forget a camera and a notebook for recording sightings.

Is there cell service near the festival grounds?

Service is limited once you enter the deep forest corridor. We recommend downloading local maps and festival schedules for offline use. Wi-Fi hotspots are available at the main festival lodge and designated partner stays.

What is the policy on wildlife encounters?

Respect the residents. Keep a safe distance from all wildlife and follow the 'Leave No Trace' principles. If you believe you’ve had a Sasquatch encounter, please report it immediately to the BFRO station on-site for documentation.
