Camping and Lodging
There are many options. You can reserve an inexpensive tent site or RV site right on the event grounds for up to four days (Friday - Monday). The cost for four days (or less) is only $50 for a tent site, and $65 for an RV site. That is very cheap. You can bring in your own food and drinks to the event if you reserve a tent or RV site. Alcohol and smoking is permitted at your site. See the link below "Find your place at basecamp" to reserve the exact spot you prefer.

The other links below lead to an array of options for lodging in the Packwood area or camping at other campgrounds in the area.
You may want to reserve a tent or RV site at a nearby campground instead if you want to stay longer than the four day window of September 25 - 28. There are also motels, cabins, historic inns, etc., to choose from. The links below show several lists.
We encourage people to stay for more days than just the event because the BFRO researchers who will attend the event will be able to tell you where to go in the vicinty for night investigations or looking for tracks. You won't have too go far because there have been many sightings right around Packwood. There is also a long list of other bigfoot hotspots within a 15 mile radius of Packwood. You will be able to check out many locations in ideal temperature conditions (not too hot or too cold) if you give yourself a few days in the area at this time of year.
If you make connections at the event you will be able hook up with other people who want to do the same in the area afterward. If you bring a Starlink dish (you can rent them) then you will be able to keep in touch with everyone who is spread out throughout the area.
